Wagmuggle is a light and airy first floor holiday apartment. Sleeping 3 comfortably (up to 4 plus cot if using the daybed) there are two bedrooms, 1 double and I single, plus the option of a day bed in the sitting room. Minimum stay is 4 nights

On the edge of the Cotswolds with Savernake forest, West Woods ( where Stonehenge stones originally came from), The Ridgeway path and Wilts and Berks canal all within easy reach, Wagmuggle is ideally placed for exploring the area.

Royal Wootton Bassett is a short walk and has supermarkets, pubs, restaurants and cafes plus independent shops. We are very lucky to have a fully vegan Cafe/wine bar in the town and a Chinese restaurant with an extensive vegan menu. These are both within walking distance of Wagmuggle.

The wholly vegan pub, The Harp and Crown in Gastard, near Corsham, is about 30 minutes from Wagmuggle.

The Cotswolds villages, Avebury, Marlborough, Malmesbury and Tetbury are within easy driving distance and there are many country walks on the doorstep.

Wagmuggle micro-sanctuary is on the outskirts of the town and Wagmuggle Apartment adjoins the sanctuary. We have rescued turkeys and small animals. Out of respect for our animals and other guests we request that no animal products are brought into Wagmuggle.

You will have a goody welcome pack with Oatly Barista, (or soya if you prefer) plus tea, coffee and treats.

Some beautiful art by vegan artist Kate Bradley on the walls

And some other original pieces by Margaret Howard

The little Gem cafe/wine bar is fully vegan and within walking distance
